My first day out after feeling better

What a day today was (19-1-07). I woke up and helped my roommate move out. Oh yes, Megan decided that she wanted to live somewhere else. There were no hard feelings or anything, she just wanted to be somewhere where she had a bed. So Nicole and I helped her move out. We later rearranged her room so that it was livable. We now have a common room where we can chill and have people over for dinner. Its really nice.

After I was done I left to go to the grocery store (which I didn’t end up doing) and put more minutes on my phone. When I finished that I was absolutely starving so I called my friend Jimmy to see what he was up to. He was eating so I went over to his house and sat on the internet for a few hours. He agreed to go to the Spanish steps with me and it was so much fun. We hit a few good points: Spanish steps, Trevi fountain, column of Troy, Blue Ice gelato, and McDonald’s. What a time it was. We were in and out and when we finished we went home to go to sleep.

These women were handing things out to everyone at the Spanish steps. I have no idea what they were handing out, a paper of sorts, but I took one. How could I not take something for two women who had tried very hard to look good?

This was a fountain located in front of the Spanish steps. It's not the Trevi fountain for those who dont know. But it was really cool because where I was standing is where people could walk up and take a drink from the fountain. I didnt want to try for fear of falling in but it was cool.

The street just below was filled with so many people that the ambulance had a hard time getting through. The picture was taken about half-way up the steps.

This is just the street that the Piazza di spagna was on so I took a picture of the sign.

This is the ever so infamous Column of Troy. It was absolutely breathe taking. There were sculptures all around the column. Very beautiful and intricate.

These are the Metro police. They are not to be confused with the Carabinieri. Neither does anything unless you go to them with a complaint.

This is the Trevi fountain. It was huge! I took a viedo of it and when I get a chance I'll send it to my mom for all to watch.

My first McDonald's experience in a long time, not just Italy. Let me see, let me see. The fries were just like back home, but I found that's not true to all of the McDonald's. The hamburger was rolled in salt and the McChicken was lemony. Interesting.

This is Jimmy. He took me out for the day because he felt bad for me being sick and missing out.

These are the Carabinieri. They are so fly. Look at those capes, and the boots. Amazing!

So, I have more to say and do and upload but I will get on it as soon as time permits. Ciao belli. Vi amo!!!
